A Nigerian, Jude O Nkama made history on January 6th as he became the
first African to be appointed as a judge in the
349 year history of the
city and State of New Jersey, USA. Hon. Ras Baraka, Mayor of the City of
Newark, NJ also appointed Hon. Ugochukwu Nwaokoro as Deputy Mayor; and
Evans Anyanwu, Esq. as Chief Prosecutor of the city. See more photos

The Indigenous People
of Biafra (IPOB) has alleged that Nnamdi Kanu, its leader, is being
tortured in detention by the Department of State Services (DSS), with
the eventual target to “secretly execute” him.
