Michael O'Halloran joins Rangers on four-and-a-half year deal

Michael O'Halloran has signed for Rangers from St Johnstone on a four-and-a-half year deal.
Rangers had already failed with two bids for the Saints attacker but reopened talks to sign the player before the transfer
window closes.
STV has learned that discussions took place over including Ibrox midfielder Nicky Law in the deal but he has not been included in the final transfer.
O'Halloran told Rangers' website: "I am happy it is finally over the line because it has been a long time. I've not known whether I am coming or going over the last month but I am delighted to be here now.
"When you hear of the interest though your immediate reaction is that you want to go to the big club and I am just happy the opportunity has finally come and the move has happened."
O'Halloran has been a star performer for Tommy Wright’s team and was instrumental in Saints’ 3-1 League Cup win at Ibrox earlier this term.
He was left out of St Johnstone's squad for one match in January as manager Tommy Wright said that speculation was affecting the 25-year-old but he has since returned to the first team.
St Johnstone chairman Steve Brown previously told STV that O'Halloran was not for sale but added: "If any offers come in we’ll consider it and if it’s not at a level that’s acceptable to us then we won’t accept it.
"We’d like to keep him but that really depends on if we get further bids."
