Sokoto Govt Earmarks N34 bn to Education

Sokoto State Government has earmarked over N34 billion to tackle the challenges in the education sector, the Commissioner for Basic and Junior Secondary Education, Dr Jabbi Kilgori, has

said.

Kilgore said this on Monday, adding that the huge allocation was in line with the declaration of state of emergency on the sector by the government.

He said that the money would be channeled towards improving infrastructure, teachers’ welfare and feeding of students among others.
